Jacob Pollack is a recurring character in Mistresses. He is a psychiatrist and colleague/partner of Dr. Karen Kim.
Background[]
Dr. Pollack is first introduced as a kind colleague of Karen. They have friendly conversations and share a partnered office. Later on, he gets involved in the depositions surrounding Karen and the death of Thomas Grey. As her character witness, he states they occasionally work late at the office. Karen then goes on to tell the truth about her and Thomas, potentially preventing Jacob from giving inaccurate information.
In Why Do Fools Fall in Love, he is over at Karen's house for dinner when they kiss. He admits still having feelings for her, but he wants to clear out his 'other dating situation' before they can get into any type of relationship.
In Choices he tells Karen about the job opportunity he got to work for a huge project in Boston. He asks Karen to go with him, but she says she can't go.
